OPM was commissioned to produce a paper for DFID Nigeria synthesising existing studies on economic growth and poverty reduction issues for Nigeria, identifying additional information and analytical needs, and drawing conclusions on the implications for UK development assistance to Nigeria. A draft of the paper was presented and discussed at a workshop in Kano, with a final version produced to take account of the comments and discussion.
