Summary:
OPM, as part of a consortium led by WYG International, is currently implementing the EU-funded ‘Support to the Regional Development Agencies (RSEDP II)’ Project. This project seeks to strengthen capacity in Serbia for the design and implementation of a policy for a balanced territorial socio-economic development from the perspective of EU accession. More specifically, the project aims to improve the capacities of the Regional Development Agencies (RDAs) and other regional and municipal stakeholders for regional development planning and implementation. Aims include: increasing the efficiency of RDAs in managing local development resources; increasing the participation of RDAs in national regional development policy planning; improving the skills of the RDAs’ staff and other stakeholders in Project Cycle Management and financial management; and ensuring the efficient management of the grant scheme for regional development.
