Ian Anderson

Associate Consultant

Ian Anderson is an experienced development economist specialising in strategic evaluations, with a particular interest in the economics and financing of service delivery in the health sector. Ian has over 25 years international development experience working as a member of the Senior Executive Service of the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) for many years; as a Senior Economist with the World Bank (1997-1999), as a Principal Economist with the Asian Development Bank (2006-2010) and as an independent economics consultant since 2010. Ian has been a Team Leader or key participant in numerous high level evaluations and assignments including those for AusAID, ADB, DFID, Ernst and Young, PMNCH, SIDA, World Bank, and World Health Organization. Ian has a Bachelor of Economics (Honours), Masters of International Health (Distinction) and is currently undertaking a PhD.
