Jesse McConnell

Associate Consultant

Jesse has over 10 years of professional experience in international development, having focused on applied social research, monitoring and evaluation, and democratic governance. Jesse has worked as a consultant with OPM since 2009 on a variety of projects. Jesse’s interests include fragile and conflict-affected states (recently working in Pakistan, the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Central African Republic) as well as designing M&E systems for complex programme designs seeking systemic and transformational change.

A sample of the projects that Jesse has worked on for OPM include data quality reviews for the Millennium Challenge Account in Namibia (2011-2014), programme evaluations (responsible finance and leadership for SEEP, 2013-2014), developing a monitoring system for the Namibia financial sector (2013), and most recently designing an M&E system for a multi-year climate change study in South Asia with 10 different implementation locations in 4 countries with an emergent governance systems design (2014-present).
