Rajan is an accomplished Organisational Development consultant, with more than 35 years' experience in strategic consultancy and top management, in Africa, Asia & the Pacific, Europe, the Americas and the Caribbean.
His previous roles include: Founder / Director of an international consultancy firm with clients and projects in over 50 countries; CEO of DFID-funded Resource Centre which provided M&E support to governments, international aid organisations and development programmes; Embedded technical adviser in national ministries; and global head of an NGO which operated in areas of war and post-conflict.
Rajan’s consultancy portfolio covers diverse governance, economic, and social development projects in the public and private sector. He is currently working on all three of OPM’s extractives programmes: The Facility for Oil & Gas Sector Transformation in Nigeria (FOSTER); Ghana Oil and Gas for Inclusive Growth (GOGIG), and Kenya Extractives Programme (K-Expro).
Rajan Soni is also a published author. His book ‘Looking for Lakshmi’, combining social history, travel writing and memoir, was published in 2015 to critical acclaim, and is available on Amazon.
