Alexandra is a consultant specialising in law, governance and development. A former lawyer, she is chiefly interested in how to promote effective governance in developing countries, and how to enhance policy implementation. Alexandra combines a legal and private sector perspective to development challenges. She is also a keen advocate for politically informed programing (Thinking and Working Politically) and more flexible and adaptive approaches to programme design. Prior to joining OPM, Alexandra worked at Oxfam in the UK and at the Australian law-firm, Clayton Utz. She holds an MPhil in Development Studies from Oxford University.
