Elizabeth Gogoiis a Consultant within OPM’s Climate Change Portfolio and based in the New Delhi office. She has over ten years of experience working with governments in South Asia, Europe and the US on climate change and energy policy. Her recent work has focused on designing and delivering programmes of technical assistance for the transition to a low-carbon and climate resilient growth model for governments in South Asia. Elizabeth’s particular areas of expertise relate to political economy programming, knowledge management approaches to connect research and policy, and policy and strategy design.
Prior to joining OPM, she was a Country Programme Manager for the Climate Development Knowledge Network (CDKN) working closely with governments and partners in Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Pakistan. She has also worked as a Policy Advisor in the European Parliament, Environment Fellow in the US Senate, Project Officer in the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), and also has experience working with NGOs in Tanzania and South Africa. Elizabeth has an MSc in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics, with a specialisation in the political economy of the environment and the role of the private sector.
