Jenny is a consultant in the Economic Policy Programme. Currently she is a member of the team researching shock-responsive social protection systems, contributing to the francophone case studies in Mali and the Sahel. Jenny is also supporting the management of a large-scale evaluation of the TradeMark East Africa programme. Past projects at OPM include working as Programme Systems Manager for our Climate-proofing growth and development project in the Delhi office, to manage the set-up of the country and state offices and necessary systems and processes. She also worked on an evaluation of a UNSD-DFID project to improve the collation, availability and dissemination of national development indicators, including MDGs.
Prior to OPM, Jenny worked for a NGO in northern rural Ghana where she managed the design and implementation of a baseline survey and supported their programme to improve the livelihoods of smallholder rice farmers through value-chain development and improved access to market. She has also worked for One Acre Fund, at the think-tank Africa Research Institute, and at Save the Children.
Jenny is a qualified project manager, holds a BA in Human Geography from the University of Exeter and a Master’s in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, and is proficient in French.
