Biography

Alex Matheson has more than 20 years experience in international development as an Associate for OPM, and as a manager and senior governance and public management adviser in the OECD and the Commonwealth Secretariat. Before that he was a public servant in New Zealand where he held senior policy and management positions in four different ministries. This included postings within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, dealing with aid planning and evaluation, and supervision of the delivery of country and regional programmes.
