Ashley Schofield

Biography

Ashley Schofield is a Principal Consultant in OPM’s Public Sector Finance and Management Programme.  He is a public financial management expert, with experience in budgeting, policy analysis, financial modeling and costing, and internal audit. He has over ten years experience of undertaking consultancy assignments covering a wide range of PFM issues in developing and transitional countries in Africa, Asia, the Balkans and the Pacific.  Ashley has undertaken a UNDP capacity assessment review of public financial management in Malawi using the PEFA framework.  He has also recently completed evaluations for the IMF in the Middle East and in the Caribbean.  Ashley has worked on a number of DFID funded projects in Armenia, Bangladesh and Serbia.
