Ed Humphrey

Biography

Ed Humphrey recently joined OPM as a Consultant within the Public Financial Management Portfolio. Ed has over five years of experience as a professional economist, first as a consultant on competition policy issues and subsequently as adviser to the Ministry of Finance in Guyana. He has previously worked as a freelance consultant to DFID as well as being a fellow under the Overseas Development Institute Fellowship Scheme.

Ed has broad public financial management experience, combined with a strong interest in debt management. In particular, he was responsible for a key project to improve capacity for debt sustainability analysis in Guyana, including elements on macroeconomic forecasting, institutional reform and governance.
