Ian Lang

Biography

Ian is a senior consultant with comprehensive experience in a broad range of public financial management issues. He has worked on the institutional development of public sector finance departments, the management of accounting departments, the design and computerisation of accounting systems and the preparation of annual accounts for auditing and parliamentary scrutiny. He has drafted public finance legislation and regulations for budgetary control, donor accounting and internal and external audit procedures. His work has also focused on training needs assessment and the delivery of training programmes. Ian worked in long term posts in Sub - Sarahan Africa and in the Pacific and has undertaken comprehensive consultancy assignments on strategic reforms of public financial management systems.
