Biography
Luize Guimaraes is a health sector expert with experience in health finance, health and social protection policy, evaluation and project management. Luize managed the health projects of the Agence française de Developpement’s in Cambodia, where she co-founded the Health Swap. She was also responsible for the Corporate Social Responsibility work in the private sector. Previously she worked for both profit and non-profit health development agencies. Since joining OPM Luize has been working on Performance Based Financing, Political Economic Analysis and Health policy and Governance assignments. Luize is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, French and English and holds an MA in International Affairs and International Development from the Institut d’Études Politiques (Sciences-Po), Paris (France), and a Master in Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health, Boston (USA).
