Biography
Maham Farhat holds a BSc in Economics degree from the University of Warwick and an MSc in International Public Policy from University College London. She joined OPM in October 2011 as an Assistant Consultant in Cross Cutting and New Business Development. Her research interests include the political economy of development, particularly the evolution and impact of economic institutions in developing countries. She is also interested in analysing the impact of ‘poor governance’, especially corruption, on human development. She is currently involved with writing a report commissioned by UNICEF and UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS) on out-of-school-children (OOSC) in the South Asian region.
