Manos Antoninis

Biography

Manos Antoninis is an economist specialising in M&E and public finance issues in the education and other social sectors. He is currently the M&E task leader in a large basic education sector support programme in Nigeria. As an education economist he is also currently working on basic education M&E projects in Bangladesh and China. He was the lead specialist in a public expenditure tracking and service delivery survey of the secondary education sector in Bangladesh. In the period 2005-2008 he was resident technical adviser to the Department of Strategy and Donor Coordination at the Prime Minister’s Office in Albania on strategic planning, M&E and public finance.

He joined OPM in January 2003 and holds a DPhil in economics from the University of Oxford for a study of technical education and the labour market in Egypt, completed at the Centre for the Study of African Economies.
