Biography
Marian Guest has over 20 years' experience leading organisational development and performance improvement initiatives. She has a strong background in capacity assessment methodologies leading to implementing change to meet new conditions such as liberalisation, decentralisation, or a changed regulatory or quality standards environment. In the course of this work she has developed a particular interest in the approaches and methodologies for organisational development, human resource development, process reengineering and operational models that provide robust enablers for effective policy implementation and service delivery. Internationally, Marian’s primary area of work has been Africa but she has also held senior positions with regional and global remits in the private sector. She has a special interest in developing organisational strategy, appropriate results-based management systems, and capacity-building initiatives in the areas of public administration, the financial services sector, and regulatory and service delivery agencies.
