Marian Guest

Biography

Marian Guest is an Organisational Development and People Development specialist with the Public Management and Accountability team. She has an MSc in Development Finance and is a Chartered Member of the UK CIPD. She has more than 15 year’s international experience in the areas of: capability reviews, performance improvement initiatives, selection and recruitment strategies, performance management systems, and process reengineering.  She has carried out this work in the sectors of governance, institutional reform, CSO and NGO capacity building, and sustainable economic growth, for donors such as DFID, EC, and USAID; as well as holding senior positions with global remits in the private sector (financial services and telecoms). Marian has a special interest in over-arching mechanisms e.g. BPR, EFQM, Capability Frameworks, etc. that can enable effective policy/strategy implementation and quality service delivery.

Prior to joining OPM, Marian has had extended periods of work and residence in sub-Saharan Africa, latterly providing OD support to the Growth component of the Security, Justice and Growth programme in Nigeria.
