Biography

Mark Watson is an economist and public financial management consultant. He has technical experience in:

  • sector planning in the social and infrastructure sectors, with a focus on financial analysis, management and programming issues (Africa, S Asia)
  • aid management and general budget support (Afghanistan, Guyana, Malawi, Vietnam)
  • economic analysis and evaluation of sector programmes and projects
  • PFM and budget support training (predominantly for the EC)

In 2005 Mark worked with OPM on two FCO assignments; an economic assessment of Ascension Island and also undertook an economic review of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
