Mike Naylor

Biography

Mike Naylor leads the OPM health portfolio. He has had extensive experience in devising processes that engage government clients in joint work on health sector strategy and management reforms. He currently leads a team building capacity within the health service of Afghanistan, and previously led teams developing and implementing health sector reform strategies in the North West Frontier Province of Pakistan and Jamaica. He is a highly experienced health service manager with 25 years work in the UK's National Health Service and in Developing countries, covering both the public and private sectors. From 1996 to 2000 he was the regional Co-ordinator and CEO of the Aga Khan Health Services in East Africa, based in Nairobi. From 1987 to 1990 he was Management advisor at the Ministry of Health, Zimbabwe, funded by ODA as part of the Family Health Project.
