Biography
Samer Al-Samarrai is an education economist whose country experience includes: Botswana, Malawi, Uganda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Lesotho. His areas of specialisation are: Household demand for schooling in Sub-Saharan Africa, determinants of student achievement, household and public financing of education systems, educational planning and simulation models for educational development. He is currently a research fellow at the Institute for Development Studies at Sussex.
