Biography
Tim Cammack is an accomplished public sector financial management consultant with extensive experience in developing countries. As well as the public sector, his work experience includes positions in international NGOs and consulting in the private sector. He has a strong background in auditing and more than 15 years' experience working in developing countries. He has worked with a variety of donors and international finance institutions, including the European Commission, Asian Development Bank, World Bank, DANIDA, DFID UK, Nordic Development Fund and USAID. He has worked in a wide variety of sectors and extensively in the public health sectors in Africa and Asia. Tim has worked on the improvement of public sector financial management systems in many African countries, including activity-based budget development, performance budgeting, CFAA facilitation and focused financial reporting. In particular, Tim has extensive experience of training in financial management at the sector level. He has advised extensively on financing proposals, financial modalities for aid and issues of financial and performance accountability, aid effectiveness, programme design, SWAps and sector reform approaches.
