Project Information

An assessment of Australia's progress with implementing the Paris Declaration, based on a review of Annual Program Performance Reports for Australian country programs in the Pacific and South East Asia.

OPM were commissioned to provide a desk-based review on AusAid’s Annual Program Performance Reports (APPRs). OPM provided an assessment of the progress made to implement the Paris Declaration’s principles, as well as provided suggestions for how AusAID may more effectively capture progress made in relation to the Paris Declaration, particularly through the APPR process. The review was based on an analysis of the provided APPR and relevant background documentation, culminating in a synthesis of implementation progress of the Paris Declaration across Australia’s Country and Regional programs. The focus is on weak, fragile and island states.
