Project Information

The project assessed international and regional mutual accountability mechanisms around the Paris Declaration and other donor and partner commitments (e.g. OECD-DAC Peer Review, Paris Declaration Monitoring, Reality of Aid, African Monitor, CGD's Commitment to Development Index). The project recommended options to address accountability deficits that can strengthen impact on donor behaviour change. The recommendations were discussed in the OECD-DAC with a view to identifying options for agreement at the Accra High-Level Forum in late 2008.
