In conjunction with the FinMark Trust and the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa, OPM undertook a research project on access to financial services in Africa, which focused on the innovative methods that are being successfully employed by formal financial institutions in Africa to extend access to financial services to MSMEs and households. This project covers a selection of long and short case studies for an upcoming major publication.
