Financial Sector Strategy
The Financial Sector Policy team brings together highly experienced macro-economists, political economists and sector analysts to advise on the design and management of sector wide strategies for the financial sector. We work closely with Central Banks, Ministries of Finance, regulators, financial intermediaries, donors and other stakeholders to assist in the formulation or clarification of a vision for the development of the financial sector in the medium to long term, and we help to develop strategies and plans to achieve that vision. This work is often undertaken in the context of poverty reduction strategies and national financial sector development plans, as well as Financial Sector Assessment Programmes (FSAPs) or Reviews of the Observation of Standards and Codes (ROSCs) supported by the World Bank and/or the International Monetary Fund,
