Project Information

The purpose of the project was to outline the arguments for General Budget Support as an aid instrument for DFID's Rural Livelihoods Advisors. A paper was prepared which outlined the characteristics and rationale for GBS and discussed experiences from implementation. The paper concluded with thoughts regarding the implications of the increasing popularity of GBS as an aid instrument for DFID's RL advisors. The paper was presented and discussed at the annual RL advisors' conference.
