OPM provided budget management support to the Ministry of Finance and support for policy and institutional development to the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD). This involved: (i) support to MoF in further developing the preparation of the 1382 development budget for submission to cabinet by March 2003; (ii) review of the current institutional structure and policy framework within which MRRD is working, and making recommendations for the next steps, and possible technical assistance, required to make MRRD more operationally effective in performing its new mandate.
