OPM prepared a review of international experience with initiatives to use transitional public finance and partnership arrangements as a mechanism for encouraging private investment in agriculture and rural enterprise, and market development, in developing countries. The study focuses particularly on mechanisms for encouraging the use of improved technology for agriculture, and was presented at the World Bank Rural Week in March 2003.
