OPM was asked to develop DFID’s understanding of the macro-micro linkages of the impact of trade reform on livelihoods and food security and to develop policy options and responses that enable the poor and food insecure to take advantage of trade liberalisation and to be protected from its potential negative impacts. OPM carried out a literature review, identified policy linkages and produced a written report.
