Project Information

OPM provided support to the DFID e-consultation on the role of agriculture in growth and poverty reduction. The e-consultation contributed to the preparation of new DFID Guidelines for Agriculture for 2004. OPM moderated the discussion on ‘making public policy and expenditure on agriculture work for the poor’. This involved the following tasks: (i) preparation of a two-page introductory paper; (ii) facilitating the discussion; (iii) reviewing and summarising the content of the discussion, and (iv) preparing a final summary of the debate including recommendations and actions for DFID.
