Project Information

Study for the Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund (EAIF) on the constraints on infrastructure investment in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). The sectors covered were: telecoms and ICT, power, transport (road, rail, ports and airports), and water & sanitation. The objective was to identify the key constraints in each sector, how they have/have not been resolved, and develop proposals for increasing private sector investment in infrastructure in SSA in the future. The study built on existing research, reviews of selected projects, and interviews primarily with sponsors and investors.
