Assessment of various proposals for a 'Development Box' presented to the WTO agriculture negotiations, and their potential effects on poverty and food security in developing countries. Review of the various proposals, preparation of case studies of the impact of the Agreement on Agriculture or of alternative proposals on selected developing countries, and an assessment of the use of modelling approaches to assess impact. On the basis of the review, proposals were prepared to guide UK policy in WTO agriculture negotiations.
