OPM was engaged to support the development of a 10 to 15 Year Strategy for Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan. This involved the assessment of options for health care access and delivery within the different markets of its operation. This included the development of quantifiable decision criteria appropriate to a not-for-profit private health care organisation.
In brief the exercise involved a review of:
• The positioning of the AKHS,P urban services;
• The positioning of the AKHS,P rural services;
• The case for a major hospital development in the Northern Areas / Chitral.
The outcome of these reviews will informed the development of an overall strategic plan for AKHS,P.
