The Government of Armenia is engaged in a rationalisation of its hospital service provision. One aspect of this is the merger of a number of hospitals in the capital Yerevan into grouped organisations. OPM provided advice on the general principles to be applied in establishing management structures for these merged organisations and in collaboration with the Chief Executives developed detailed management structures including the drafting of job descriptions. Further advice was provided on the human resource functions required to support these changes in the hospitals, municipalities and Ministry of Health.
