Project Information
Provided support to the Ministry of Health in Afghanistan with two major components. The first was to support the planning and provision of an appropriate network of primary healthcare facilities. The second involved capacity building within the Ministry of Health nationally and in at least five provinces. This involved general management strengthening and specific initial attention to systems relating to human resources, finance and procurement. The work was undertaken in close collaboration with other donor efforts.
