Project Information

OPM worked on the implementation of a Medium Term Expenditure Framework in Albania.  The project was based in the following five areas: linking policy and programmes with budgets; enhancing the Ministry of Finance's capacity to manage the MTEF process; ensuring effective documentation of new systems and procedures; enhancing the capacity of the line ministries to contribute to the Integrated Planning System; and enhancing the capacity of the National Assembly's Economic and Finance Committee to hold the Government of Albania to account.
