Project Information

The objective of the contract was to provide expertise in the area of Public Administration Reform Public Expenditure Management, Development Economics, Budgetary Support Assistance and Logical Framework Matrix analysis; to the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning for the design of a programme of support to the public sector reform process. Activities included;

  • Providing background information on the current macro economic and public finance framework and the ongoing public sector reform programme,
  • To provide recommendations on the assistance to be provided under the programme in terms of programme objectives and performance indicators,
  • Make recommendations on the modalities, timetable and conditions and on the coordination and monitoring mechanisms to be adopted,
  • To prepare the final text of the programme plan in keeping with EC guidelines including a work plan, indicative budgets and timetable and a logframe.
