OPM provided a Governance adviser on a planning Mission to review public sector management and reform initiatives and public sector financial management to provide recommendations and progress reports to form the basis for a forthcoming Aid Framework mission. The advisor was responsible for reviewing financial management and accountability arrangements and making proposals for reform and strengthening including the definition of skills required to support financial management. They also reviewed on-going public sector management improvement initiatives and made specific recommendations for assistance and actions required to introduce a new Constitution.
