Project Information
OPM undertook an evaluation of UNDP’s ZVI project in order to share learning from the project’s implementation and outputs so that lessons can be drawn which can be used to inform the development of further poverty reduction interventions in Tajikistan and elsewhere. More specifically, the evaluation looked capturing lessons with respect to: how the programme supported livelihoods; how community systems can develop better links to government policy and budget processes; how government and donors can engage with civil society; the experience of the micro-loan foundation in generating incomes; and, what the programme’s successes mean for future rural growth work in Tajikistan.
