Summary:
This project is aimed at helping the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP); DFID and the World Bank developing ideas for ensuring that cash transfers have a greater impact on child nutrition status than a simple cash transfer might on its own achieve.
We have undertaken a literature review; a strategic framework document; a couple of “solutions” discussions/paper and has run small discussions with the key stakeholders to ensure a common understanding and approach. We will conclude by developing a small programming paper which aims to develop three ideas that would be piloted and evaluated during a 12 month period.
