The Gatsby Charitable Foundation, UK has provided financial support to the Cameroon Gatsby Foundation (CGF) since 1996. In a strategic partnership with Afriland First Bank (the third largest bank in the country), the CGF has evolved into a registered microfinance provider to women groups in four out of 10 provinces in Cameroon. OPM, together with MicroSave, was asked to review the current CGF strategy, programmes, partnerships and organisational capacity and to recommend strategic priorities for improving its focus and sustainability.
