- The Indian Council of Food and Agriculture (ICFA), an apex think tank focused on policy issues surrounding the agricultural and food industries, has organised its first round-table conference on ‘Climate Change and Food Security in Africa’ in collaboration with The World Bank and DFID, as part of the India-Africa agricultural partnership. - Immunisation coverage in Jigawa State, Nigeria has increased significantly from 2% in 2016/17 to 92% according to a recent internal survey assessing the implementation of immunisation strategies. One of Nigeria’s poorest states, Jigawa has previously struggled to achieve development goals. Read more in Elombah News.
- As part of the Pakistan Government’s commitment to address nutrition related challenges, plans to establish a Centre of Excellence on Nutrition for a National Action Plan on Nutrition have been announced. - The Nigerian Government have announced that the findings of the second National Household Survey on Quality and Integrity of Public Services in Nigeria will be published in September.
