This event brought together Early Childhood Development (ECD) experts to explore future trends in the ECD space. In light of significant funding shifts and evolving challenges and solutions, our panellists shared their country-level perspectives on how these changes are likely to impact the sector.
ECD has received support across several low-and middle-income countries in the last few years. With a high proportion of aid being withdrawn globally, we uncover what this means for the ECD sector in individual countries. In a rapidly evolving period, we seek to unpack whether the priorities for the ECD community are likely to change, if there are specific points that need emphasis and advocacy, and what practitioners and policymakers should pay attention to.
Our panellists bring a range of perspectives and vantage points to ECD programmes within their country contexts, ranging from ECD measurement, to working with governments and convening organisations in networks.
