Climate, energy, and nature
We specialise in climate, energy, nature, disaster risk and urban policy, with a central focus on devising and implementing policies that drive sustainability, resilience, and environmental stewardship. Our expertise in research, policy formulation, organisational reform and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) equips us to deliver meaningful change.
By harnessing renewable energy solutions and developing and implementing climate mitigation strategies, we actively contribute to lowering greenhouse gas emissions and mitigating the impacts of climate change. Simultaneously, we prioritise climate adaptation, working to fortify communities and ecosystems against the effects of a changing climate.
Our disaster risk management work develops robust strategies and financial plans that enhance disaster resilience, safeguarding lives and assets in the face of environmental upheavals.
In urban settings, our team takes a pioneering role in shaping policies that foster sustainable development and ensure effective urban service delivery. We collaborate with municipalities to design and implement forward-thinking urban policies. We're committed to guiding the practical implementation of these policies, ensuring their real-world impact on urban landscapes.
While rooted in evidence, our focus extends beyond research and analysis. We are dedicated to translating our knowledge into pragmatic, actionable policies that drive tangible change. By working in partnership with government and stakeholders in low- and middle-income countries, we continuously refine our approach, propelling industries, governments, and communities toward a future that harmonises the needs of people and the planet.
