Energy and low-carbon growth
Our experience includes researching the effectiveness of energy policies, supporting policy and governance reforms in the energy sector, and promoting low-carbon and green-growth strategies. We supported the Low-Carbon Support programme for the Indonesian Ministry of Finance, which generated numerous fiscal and regulatory actions to encourage renewable energy.
Our Energy and Economic Growth research programme is producing valuable evidence and knowledge around the critically under-researched links between energy and economic growth in low-income countries. This research will transform energy policy, and have significant implications for poverty reduction, human development, and environmental sustainability.
