Andrzej Dabkowski leads our Indonesia office. He is a market development specialist and PRINCE2 Practitioner-qualified programme manager with a significant track record managing portfolio of donor-funded programmes in complex and politically sensitive environments.
Before taking up his post in Indonesia, Andrzej spent a year-and-a-half overseeing the work of an advisory facility, the Decision Support Unit (DSU), to DFID’s £100m Private Sector Development Programme in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. As a senior manager and a private sector development expert, Andrzej provided inputs to all key activities of the DSU, including undertaking annual results verification and project completion review of DFID’s largest market systems development programme, the ELAN RDC.
Prior to OPML, Andrzej was overseeing a portfolio of business enabling environment and advocacy programmes for Danida and DFID, aiming to build private sector capacity to engage in successful policy dialogue and improve investment climate.
Andrzej holds an MSc in Economic Theory, and BSc in Social Science from the National University of Ireland, University College Cork.
