Siham Afatta
Siham is one of the System Dynamics Modeler in the Low Carbon Development Initiative (LCDI) Secretariat. He collaborates with other sectoral specialists at the secretariat in managing the Green Economy model. The model is a key tool for multi-sectoral policy analysis and decision-making in advancing low-carbon development at the national and provincial levels.
He has over ten years of consulting experience, mainly in science-public policy advisory and interdisciplinary research, to support government institutions and academia. His focus area of knowledge is marine natural resource management, particularly coral reef ecosystems and small-scale fisheries in Indonesia.
Prior to joining us, he supported marine policy advisory and analytics, including modelling applications, supporting the Ministry of National Development Planning, the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime and Investment Affairs, and the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries.
