We promote low-carbon development pathways to enable the Government of Indonesia to meet its emissions reduction targets through improved planning, policy, and financing.
Sikkharini is a skilled urban strategies and climate resilience consultant with previous project experiences in Southeast Asia, Middle East, the UK, East Africa and Central America. She has professional experience in both the development world and the private sector, focusing on policy and regulation analysis, spatial planning, and climate resilience. She currently works on Low Carbon Development Initiative Phase 2 in Indonesia, a four year programme funded by the UK's FCDO to mainstream low carbon development in Indonesia’s national and sub-national development plans as an effort to achieve Indonesia’s enhanced NDC target. In the past, she has delivered various urban policy and planning works, including the development and evaluation of sustainable urban and economic development pathway; policy and spatial analysis for the development of spatial plans; climate hazard assessment and climate resilience strategies; and evaluation of regional plans.
