Board member Tania Songini is an accomplished finance director with international expertise. She worked with the energy, healthcare and logistics teams at Siemens for nearly 20 years, spanning different countries and cultures, with a particular focus on large projects. She has experience in optimising processes and organisational change, risk management, and improving business performance whilst making sure governance standards are met.
Tania is a qualified commercial and community mediator, fluent in six languages. She grew up in cities across Africa and has travelled widely in Latin America and the Middle East.
Tania recently served as Director of finance and operations for the International Rescue Committee (IRC) UK and Europe, pursuing a long standing passion for economic and social issues in developing countries. She is the Chair of ViaNiños UK, a charity she established in the UK in 2009 to support projects helping street and working children in Ecuador.
Tania has a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Rome (Italy), and a number of management and mediation qualifications.
