Our teams

We recognise that social protection is an investment. It enables people to manage risks, build human capital, improve living standards, and become more economically empowered. Our team works alongside governments and development partners to strengthen social protection systems across the policy cycle, including through:

  • Poverty, vulnerability, and inequality analysis.
  • Policy and system assessment: mapping and diagnosing social protection policies and systems.
  • Strategy development: assisting the development of financially and politically feasible strategies for social protection.
  • Capacity strengthening: We enhance capacity through on-the-job training, seminars, e-learning, tailored curricula, and online communities of practice.
  • Programme design and implementation: including for cash plus approaches, of delivery systems, and with a focus on scalability.
  • Monitoring, evaluation, research and learning: including of impacts, process and cost.
